Si Vis Amari are bespoke jewellers Didsbury couples have trusted since 2010. We design and craft custom engagement rings, wedding rings, and fine jewellery from our private studio on Barlow Moor Road, located within the Didsbury Business Centre.
Every piece we create starts with a conversation. Whether you have a clear vision for your ring or you’re just beginning to explore ideas, our consultations are relaxed, unhurried, and completely personal. There’s no shop front, no display cabinets, and no sales pressure. Just a private setting where we can sit down together and design something that truly reflects your story.

What to Expect at Your Didsbury Consultation
Your first appointment at our Didsbury studio is an opportunity to talk through what you’re looking for. We’ll discuss diamond shapes, settings, metals, and budget in a completely relaxed environment. There is no obligation and no pressure to commit on the day.
If you’d like to move forward, we’ll work with you through the full design process. This includes selecting your diamond, refining the design, reviewing 3D models, and handcrafting the finished ring in the UK. From first conversation to finished piece, the process typically takes four to six weeks.
We work with both lab grown and natural diamonds, all independently certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGI (International Gemological Institute). Our approach to diamond selection is built on transparency. We’ll walk you through everything you need to know so you can make a confident, informed choice.

Getting Here
Our studio is inside the Didsbury Business Centre, a red brick building at 137 Barlow Moor Road, directly opposite Alberts restaurant.
Parking: The building has a private car park, but access is only via Mersey Road (not from Barlow Moor Road). Turn off Barlow Moor Road into Mersey Road and the car park entrance is on your immediate left. If you’re arriving before 6pm Monday to Friday, please park in the space next to the bin store, which is on your right as you drive into the car park.

By tram: The nearest Metrolink stop is Didsbury Village, approximately a 10 minute walk from our studio along Barlow Moor Road.
By bus: Several bus routes run along Barlow Moor Road including the 42, 142, and 143 from Manchester city centre. The journey takes around 25 minutes.
Why Didsbury
Didsbury Village has been our home since the very beginning. The tree lined streets, independent shops, and relaxed village atmosphere make it the perfect setting for what we do. Designing an engagement ring should feel special, and the environment matters as much as the conversation.
Our clients often combine their appointment with a visit to Didsbury Village itself. Whether it’s a coffee beforehand or lunch afterwards, the area has plenty to offer. It’s one of the reasons so many couples choose our Didsbury studio for their consultation.
We also have a second studio in Manchester city centre for those who prefer a central location.

Is there parking near the studio?
Yes. The Didsbury Business Centre has a private car park, accessed via Mersey Road (off Barlow Moor Road). If arriving before 6pm on weekdays, please use the designated space next to the bin store on your right as you enter. There is also free on street parking on the surrounding residential streets.
What happens at my first consultation?
Your first visit is an informal, relaxed conversation about what you’re looking for. We’ll discuss diamond shapes, ring styles, metals, and budget. There is no obligation and no pressure to commit. Most first consultations last around 45 minutes to an hour.
How long does it take to make a bespoke engagement ring?
From initial consultation to finished ring, the process typically takes four to six weeks. This includes design, diamond sourcing, and handcrafting in the UK.
Do you have a second location?
Yes. We also have a studio in Manchester city centre at 3 Hardman Street. Both studios offer the same consultative experience by appointment.
Can I see diamonds and ring samples at the consultation?
Yes. We can show you a selection of diamonds and discuss the differences in cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight in detail. We believe in complete transparency so you can make an informed choice.
Do you make wedding rings as well?
Yes. We design and handcraft bespoke wedding rings, including shaped bands designed to sit perfectly alongside your engagement ring.
