The talon style keeps each claw slim and low-profile, minimising the metal visible from the top while providing exceptional hold.

The diamond halo is set in platinum using a shared claw technique, where each diamond shares its setting wall with its neighbour to create a continuous ring of light around the sapphire. The total diamond weight in the halo is approximately 0.45ct of natural round brilliant cut diamonds. The halo sits slightly below the top of the sapphire, allowing the centre stone to project above the surrounding diamonds and catch light independently.

Beneath the halo, the gallery features decorative petal metalwork that adds an ornamental quality when the ring is viewed from the side. This is not visible from the top, but it gives the ring a layered, sculptural character from every other angle.
