About This Design

The Fluere by Si Vis Amari is a crossover solitaire engagement ring defined by movement. The name comes from the Latin fluere, meaning to flow, and that’s exactly what this ring does. A single, continuous form rises from the band into a crossover gallery that cradles the diamond, creating a seamless design with no hard transitions between setting and shank. It’s organic, sculptural, and unmistakably different from a traditional solitaire.

This is a ring for someone who wants the simplicity of a solitaire but with a design that feels considered and distinctive. The Fluere doesn’t rely on embellishment, its character comes entirely from its form, and that’s what makes it stand out on the hand.

Design Details

The Fluere is a one-part mount, meaning the band and setting are cast as a single piece rather than assembled from separate components. The band tapers subtly as it rises toward the diamond, splitting into a crossover gallery where two flowing lines sweep up and around the stone before forming the four claws. There are no joints, no soldered connections — just one continuous form from finger to diamond.

This crossover design creates an open, airy gallery that lets light flood the diamond from every angle. Viewed from the side, the flowing lines give the ring a sculptural quality that catches the eye without competing with the centre stone. The band uses an elegant D profile — rounded on the outside with a comfortable fit on the inside, giving it a refined feel on the finger.

The four claws are shaped to hold the diamond securely while covering as little of the stone as possible, letting the full brilliance of the cut come through. Every line in this ring has been shaped to feel natural and effortless, as though it grew into this form rather than being designed into it.

Your Diamond

The Fluere is available with both lab-grown and natural diamonds, so you can choose the stone that best reflects your extract requirements.

Our lab-grown diamonds are graded to D or E colour with VS1 to VVS1 clarity and an Excellent or Ideal cut, the finest quality available, without the ethical and environmental concerns of mining. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined diamonds. They are real diamonds, certified independently by the IGI or GIA.

For natural diamonds, we source stones individually to match your requirements. Whether you have a specific carat weight, colour, or budget in mind, we’ll find the right stone and walk you through the options before you commit. Request a natural diamond quote through the configurator or get in touch directly.

Si Vis Amari offers the highest quality tier for our lab-grown collection. The standard shown here,  D/E colour, VS1–VVS1 clarity, Excellent cut , is our recommendation and it’s the standard we set for our own rings. The cut grade, in particular, is something we never compromise on , it’s the single biggest factor in how much a diamond sparkles, and every stone we set is cut to Excellent or Ideal grade.

Crafted by Hand

Every Si Vis Amari engagement ring is handcrafted individually and hallmarked in accordance with UK law. We don’t batch-produce or mass-manufacture rings — your Fluere is made specifically for you, by experienced craftspeople who understand that every piece tells a story. From the initial consultation through to the finished ring in your hands, every step reflects a commitment to getting the details right.

What makes the Fluere different from a standard solitaire engagement ring?

The Fluere is a crossover solitaire where the band and setting are cast as a single continuous piece. Instead of a traditional basket mounted onto a shank, the band tapers and splits into two flowing lines that sweep around the diamond to form the claws. The result is a sculptural, organic design that feels entirely different from a conventional four-prong solitaire.

What does the name Fluere mean?

Fluere is Latin for “to flow.” It describes the way the band moves seamlessly into the setting without any hard transitions, joints, or soldered connections. Every Si Vis Amari engagement ring carries a Latin name that reflects something about the design itself.

What metals is the Fluere available in?

The Fluere is handcrafted in platinum, 18ct yellow gold, 18ct white gold, and 18ct rose gold. Our 18ct white gold uses a high palladium alloy that stays naturally white without rhodium plating. All four metals are always available and the price adjusts live in the configurator above.

Can I choose between a lab-grown and natural diamond for the Fluere?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are available to configure and purchase directly through the page. Every lab-grown diamond we set is graded D or E colour, VS1 to VVS1 clarity, and Excellent or Ideal cut, certified by the IGI or GIA. For natural diamonds, we source stones individually to match your requirements and provide a no-obligation quote.

Will a wedding band sit flush against the Fluere?

The Fluere’s crossover gallery sits slightly above a standard flat band, so most straight wedding rings will sit close but may not sit perfectly flush. If you want a seamless fit, we can design a shaped or contoured wedding band that follows the exact profile of the Fluere’s gallery.

What is a one-part mount?

A one-part mount means the entire ring, from band to setting, is cast as a single piece rather than assembled from separate components. There are no soldered joints between the shank and the gallery. This gives the Fluere its seamless, flowing character and adds structural integrity to the design.

Carat weights shown are approximate. Your diamond will be within the stated range (e.g. a 0.75ct selection may be 0.73–0.78ct). Exact weight and specification confirmed at time of order.
