Every angle reveals something new, from the trilliant sapphires flanking the centre diamond to the hidden scrollwork and diamonds set beneath the bridge.

The design begins with a round brilliant cut diamond at the centre, flanked by two trilliant cut natural blue sapphires. The sapphires are carefully colour matched and positioned to complement the white of the diamond, creating a striking contrast that draws the eye across the full width of the setting. Surrounding this central trio is scalloped petal metalwork, shaped and finished by hand, that frames the stones without crowding them.

Strategically scattered across the top of the ring are symmetrically placed satellite diamonds in a celestial arrangement. These smaller stones catch light from different angles as the ring moves, adding constant sparkle and scintillation to the piece without overwhelming the central composition. The effect is deliberate and controlled. Every satellite diamond has been positioned for maximum visual impact.

Most fantasy inspired engagement rings stop at the top view, but The Fantasy continues the design through the finger. From the side, intricate scrollwork flows beneath the bridge of the setting, and three additional diamonds are set within this detail. It is the kind of design that rewards a closer look, with ornamentation that most people will never see unless the ring is taken off and turned over. Design Details

The Fantasy is constructed as a single assembled mount in platinum. The setting head holds the centre diamond in a claw arrangement, with the two trilliant sapphires secured in rub-over bezels on either side. The scalloped petal metalwork around the head is hand finished and acts as both a decorative frame and a structural support for the satellite diamonds.

The satellite diamonds are grain set into the metalwork at precise intervals. The arrangement is symmetrical when viewed from above, giving the ring a balanced celestial quality. Despite the complexity of the layout, the overall profile remains refined. The ring does not sit excessively high on the finger, and the metalwork has been kept as fine as possible to allow light through to the stones from multiple directions.

Beneath the setting, the scrollwork detail is visible through the open gallery. Three small diamonds are set into this undercarriage, adding a layer of hidden decoration that is characteristic of high-end jewellery craftsmanship. The scroll forms are organic and flowing, softening the geometric precision of the top view with something more fluid and expressive.

The band itself is clean and unadorned, tapering gently as it meets the setting. This deliberate simplicity in the shank allows the full visual weight to sit with the head of the ring where it belongs. The Fantasy has been carefully designed so that a straight wedding band sits flush alongside it, meaning the full decorative impact of the ring is uninterrupted when worn with a wedding ring.

The ring is crafted in platinum, which provides the density, durability and naturally white finish that a design of this complexity demands. The Fantasy is also available in 18ct white gold, 18ct yellow gold and 18ct rose gold through the configurator. Our 18ct white gold uses a high palladium alloy that maintains its colour without rhodium plating.

The Fantasy is available with both lab-grown and natural diamonds as the centre stone, so you can choose the option that best reflects your values and budget. The trilliant sapphires and satellite diamonds are included with every configuration.

Our lab-grown diamonds are graded to D or E colour with VS1 to VVS1 clarity and an Excellent or Ideal cut. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, optically and physically identical to mined diamonds. They are real diamonds, certified independently by the IGI or GIA.

For natural diamonds, we source stones individually to match your requirements. The showcase piece features a 0.79ct GIA certified H colour VS1 clarity triple excellent round brilliant, a specification that balances warmth, clarity and performance beautifully in this setting.
