Our wedding rings collection is available from as simple as plain wedding rings with or without texture, to hand engraved wedding bands, classic eternity, vintage style designs and coloured gemstone set rings. Our diamond set wedding rings are available with your choice of lab-grown diamonds or natural diamond, in platinum or 18ct gold. Frequently Asked Questions
As well as engagement rings, do you sell wedding rings too?
Yes. We design and create bespoke wedding rings, plain wedding bands and diamond wedding rings alongside our engagement ring collections. Many of our customers return to us after their proposal to have matching wedding rings designed and crafted to complement their engagement ring perfectly.
Do you offer a repair service?
We offer repair, restoration and refinishing services exclusively on pieces originally created by Si Vis Amari. We do not carry out repairs on jewellery from other jewellers.
Can I just turn up without an appointment to browse?
No. Si Vis Amari operates a strictly appointment only service across both our Didsbury and Manchester city centre studios. Every consultation is private and one to one, giving you our full attention without any pressure. You can book your appointment through our contact page.
Do you only work with customers around Manchester?
Not at all. While our studios are based in Didsbury and Manchester city centre, we have customers from all across the UK, from Scotland to London and everywhere in between. Locally, we welcome clients from Wilmslow, Cheadle, Stockport, Hale, Altrincham, Sale and the wider Cheshire area. We are happy to work with customers wherever they are based.
Do you do valuations?
We do not offer standalone valuation services. However, every engagement ring, wedding ring and piece of jewellery we create comes with a professional valuation included free of charge for insurance purposes.
How long does a bespoke engagement ring take to make?
From your initial consultation to holding the finished ring, the process typically takes between four and eight weeks. This includes the design stage, sourcing your chosen diamond and the handcrafting of your ring here in the UK. Timelines can vary depending on the complexity of the design.
Do you use lab grown or natural diamonds?
We offer both. Every diamond we source is GIA certified, whether lab grown or natural, so you can be confident in the quality and authenticity of your stone. During your consultation we will walk you through the differences so you can make the right choice for you.
Can I design my own engagement ring?
Absolutely. That is what we specialise in. Every ring we create begins with your vision. Using 3D sculpting software from the film industry, we design your ring from scratch based on your ideas, preferences and story. You will be involved throughout the entire process, from initial concept through to the finished piece.
How much does a bespoke engagement ring cost?
Our bespoke engagement rings start from around £1,500, with most customers typically spending between £2,000 and £2,500. The final price depends on your choice of diamond, metal and design complexity. We are always transparent about pricing from the very first consultation so there are never any surprises.
What metals do you offer?
We offer four metals across all our engagement rings and wedding rings: platinum, 18ct white gold, 18ct yellow gold and 18ct rose gold. Our 18ct white gold is a high palladium alloy, which means it stays naturally white and never requires rhodium replating, unlike the white gold used by most high street jewellers.
What is your white gold made from?
Our 18ct white gold uses a high palladium alloy. Palladium is a precious metal from the platinum family, which gives our white gold its naturally bright white colour. Unlike standard white gold alloys that rely on rhodium plating to appear white, our white gold will never yellow or need replating. It is one of the key ways we ensure the quality and longevity of every piece we create.
