Our Services
Si Vis Amari is a bespoke jewellery company specialising in engagement rings, wedding rings and fine jewellery. All consultations are by appointment only at our Didsbury or Manchester city centre studios. Every piece is designed by us and handcrafted in the UK to your individual specifications.
Ordering and Payment
For items purchased through the website, full payment is required at the time of order. For bespoke commissions and in-studio orders, a deposit is required to begin work, with the balance due prior to delivery. Deposit amounts and payment schedules will be confirmed at the time of your consultation. All payments are processed securely via Worldpay. Prices displayed on the website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the current rate of 20%.
As our pieces use precious metals and gemstones, prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in material costs. The price confirmed at the time of your order will be honoured.
Bespoke and Made-to-Order Products
All our rings and jewellery are made to order, crafted to your chosen specification including ring size, metal type, gemstone selection and design details. Because each piece is uniquely made for you, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once production has commenced, unless a specific agreement has been made in writing prior to ordering.
If there is a manufacturing defect or the finished piece does not match the agreed specification, we will rectify this at no additional cost to you.
Deposits
Deposits paid for bespoke commissions are non-refundable once design work or production has begun. If you wish to cancel before work has started, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Delivery
Completed pieces are shipped via Royal Mail, FedEx or DHL, fully insured. A signature will be required upon delivery. You may also collect your order in person from either of our studios by appointment. We accept no liability for loss or damage once the item has been signed for by you or a nominated recipient.
Estimated delivery timescales will be provided at the time of order. Bespoke commissions typically take 8-16 weeks from confirmation, though timescales may vary depending on complexity.
Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. All pieces come with a 12 months warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or alterations carried out by a third party. We offer cleaning, polishing and maintenance services. Please contact us for details.

Website Accuracy
We make every effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, due to the nature of displaying precious metals and gemstones on screen, colours and appearances may vary slightly from the actual product. Diamond and gemstone images are representative and individual stones will vary. If you have any concerns, please contact us and we will be happy to provide additional images or information.
